The hard-throwing Goose Gossage was one of the most consistent relief pitchers ever. During his career, Gossage earned 310 saves and recorded 1502 strikeouts. He also made nine All-Star appearances and pitched in three World Series. Goose saved the saved the AL East playoff game against the Red Sox in 1978. This original painting an intense playoff moment at Yankee Stadium which Goose has autographed.
